... importing from Canada to the US is a bit easier than the rest of the
world. You can get the straight scoop from the DOT website ... check out:

California should not be any more difficult than any other state given the
car is used. You might want to search the www.dmv.ca.gov site for more info
on that though ... and whatever you do, if something isn't clearly written
down in the rules, get it down in writing before going too far down the path
...
