Hi All,

DON'T CLICK ON THE URL AND READ THE ARTICLE ABOUT NIGERIAN SCAMS POSTED ON
THE Q LIST UNLESS YOU REALLY KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING....

The Nigerian Scam article that someone posted on this list within the past 2
days is probably a Venus Flytrap collecting email addresses of those who
read the article. No sooner had I read the article, which was poorly
written and sophomoric, than I got a spoof of a PayPal billing. I reported
the billing to <spoof at paypal.com> and they confirmed that it was spurious
and said they'd go after the perpetrators. I also forwarded the message to
<reports@"myusername".bluesecurity.com> and reported it to Spamcop.

The article in the URL was far out of date for most computer users and
contained a threat to send "7 Nigerian Agents" after those that renege. I
toy with the Nigerians occasionally like some other users have described and
I would introduce the "7 Nigerian Agents" to a couple of my friends covertly
know by the initials S&W. S&W carry some very convincing arguments.

Sorry for the NAC but I might save someone a hassle with PayPal.

Cheers!

Jim Jordan
