4k clutch master/slave ??'s

More advice needed: 

Victim is an '86 4kcsq. Symptoms are the clutch pedal staying on the floor,
going the floor all by itself, not disengaging the clutch (no more nice
shifting), and a general lack of willingness to do what it's supposed to do.
The brake fluid does not appear to be much lower, but I admit it's been a
while since I've checked it. 

How hard is it to swap the master or slave on this car? Never done it
before, but have heard it's not necessarily the most fun job. If I chose not
to do this, any quotes from others what they paid a shop to do this?
