New 95 A6 - Questions

I found a nice dark taupe '95 A6 with grey leather interior.

I had asked whether there were any dings on the exterior and they said no.
There are some small ones. Not too bad for $5,500. It has about
120,000 miles on
it and they had the receipt for timing belt and water pump. But overall
a very pleasing car and purrfect for real estate ! Have gotten a ton
of compliments on it!

I got the Mauve/Taupe AZ plates to go with it. A bit flashy for my taste,
but still classy looking none the less.

It looks great after a wash. And I am trying to get horse horse pics off
my phone with camera. I also have a new digital camera and can't find the
chord to hook it up to my computer. I can't quite keep us with the
many technologies. As you all know, had to buy new cell phone, computer,
and car all in the same month. Wow am I tapped out!

I took it down to Audi dealership in Phoenix and there are a few leaks to
watch, but the codes came out with no fault. Few minutes thing like the
window switch in passenger rear needs to be replaced, but it is running
great.

Very comfortable to drive. Engine looks like SpaceAge compared to my older
car, which I need to find a home for.

Thanks to everyone for the great advice when I was looking for another Audi.

As an aside, I tried out some nice endurance horses when I was near Denver
and had to bale on one that took off at a full gallop. Scraped all the skin
off my lower back and it has indeed been excruciatingly painful for me
since then and am way behind in everything. But my car is very comfortable.
Now that that pain is subsiding I am worried about the left leg that took
a terrible pounding with the iron after I lost my stirrups before I had to
bail off this runaway at a full gallop.

BUT driving home all that way from Denver changing bandages ever so often is
not my idea of a fun pleasure trip. The scenery west along the lower part of
Colorado is spectacular. I avoided that miserable drive along
Highway 40 in NM which I loathe. Can't wait to go to Denver again !

Paul - catch ya next time you are through Flagstaff. Anyone else coming
through Flagstaff give me a hollar !
