Broke 5k power seat SOLVED

I got this one figured out finally. The motors all worked when I applied
voltage to them, the controller swap did nothing, the relay has nothing to do
with the seat adjustments.

It turned out to be a bad switch module. The three seat adjustment switches
had probably been wet and were corroded. What really threw me off was that the
backrest switch also wasn't working- it was actually fine, the failure of that
switch cluster also caused the backrest adjustment to have no power. It also
threw me off that all the switches were working just a few days ago.

I spliced the old switches into the new seat's wiring harness, and voilá! -
it's working now.

Live and learn. The backache will probably go away in a few weeks :|

Still trying to track down that chronic idle problem, but it's got a lower
priority now that the car will idle in traffic. Driver's seat heater doesn't
work either. Doh.

At least the list is getting shorter.
