fault code list ?'s

I am getting an intermittant check engine light on my wife's 88 90q.
I inserted a fuse in the fuel pump relay for 4 sec's as reccommended and when I pull it out the engine stalls.
I continue to read the blinked out code and I only get 2223.
I have checked SJM (wonderfull site) but I can't find the code list for this car.  I see that it lists 2223 as the altitude sensor for an 88 100 non-turbo and 2223 is not listed for a turbo MC engine.
Is 2223 listed because the engine stalled (rpm sensor) or should I look further into the altitude sensor?
