HELP: 95 A6 Audi Q A CHANGE Tranny Fluid ?

Chris has it correct here. And Audi is very specific about the new trans
fluid as of 95MY. I checked a manual we have at the office (handy to have)
and there is a drain plug in the bottom of the transmission pan and a fill
plug in the side of the pan. A little fluid should come out of the fill plug
hole while in park, idling, and warm. Procedure in the manual depends on the
OBD system to read ATF temperature during warm up. If fluid does not start
to drip out in the temp range then you add fluid thru the fill/check hole,
requires a pump of some sort.

Note:
The ATF level is checked at the ATF check-plug hole.
The ATF level is correct if fluid slightly runs out at the ATF check-plug
hole with ATF temperature between 35°C and 45°C* (caused by the increase in
the fluid level during warm-up).
*For hot climates 50°C
