Both good engines, but I beleive you'll have better success with the earlier 
engine as the wiring get even more complex in the later.

I just ran the brakes off manifold vacuum - just make sure the vacuum 
reservior is used and one way valve in the appropriate places.

Contemplating a 10VT conversion to either my QSW or a 4KQ I have sitting
around.  First: I have available an 85 5KT FWD engine, or a 90 5KT
engine.  Is the 1990 FWD 5KT engine the "good one"?  Next question:  How
do conversion people deal with the vacuum for the brake booster?  Since
the 5KT utilizes a hydro boost system, and the QSW and 4KQ utilize
vacuum assisted brakes, there's gotta be some accomodation.  TIA, John]
