A couple of conversion questions

I'd use the 1990 "200" motor for the lower CR and the ECU tuning of two knock 
sensors........Some like the MC-1 variety of 1989-ish.

While the 85 may be a cleaner motor to work on the ECU is primative 
(comparitively) and the older turbos were just oil cooled.  Your '85 may have both.

I'd EFI the newer motor
check motorgeek.com for some ideas.............
