A couple of conversion questions

... assuming that you meant to say 1990 200 FWD ... correct?  The 5000 line 
ended in 1988 ...

If so, I'd choose that over the '85 ... not just because it is newer ... the 
1990 turbos have a higher static compression and have a turbo which is a K24 
... meaning that you should get a bit better off boost torque and quicker 
spool ... and the engine's got the dual knock sensor controller.  It is a 
bit more difficult to find a low cost boost chip for the MAC-14, but not 
impossible ...

I get a little confused at the engines Audi used in '85 ... I'm pretty sure 
it isn't an MC ... but it may have a solid lifter head ... which some folks 
(like myself) actually prefer ... but in this case, I'd still probably 
choose the MC-II ...
