Temp Gauge/Warning light 90q

I may not have expressed in the best way, but the
bottom line is, as per set up in the VW Quantum
Syncro, which shares the same set up and drive train
as the 4KQ, if your thermostat is stuck open or do not
have a thermostat in place all together, the car will
tend to run on the hotter side of the gauge.

And if in stop and go traffic, like we get here in
say, the Palmetto Expressway (FL) in a hot, humid
afternoon with 95*F, the fan will be running mad and
still, the car would be running very hot. All cooling
systems in working order, except for the exception
mentioned above.
