window motor- internal "gearbox" jam?

Brett,
I had one regulator in my 89 200 that was jammed internally. Turned out
that the cable had frayed on one side of the spool and wrapped around
the cable on the other side. In that case, the cables still moved a
little. The motor could also be sticking due to a bad bearing or open
winding.
