urethane mount guy in marketplace?

Okay, am I missing something, or is this guy using the marketplace  
(which is really for private-party stuff, not commercial product  
advertising) to sell his stuff?

If he's doing it "for the community" cheap or such- that's one  
thing.  I don't follow the list closely enough to know if listers  
solicited his services, etc.

Can anyone fill me in on the full story before I go into kitten- 
killing-ogre mode? :-)
