rear windows not working

I have the same thing w/ my '86 4000s. Thinking my rear
driver-side mechanism might be rusted up in the rear door so
I just ignore it. Maybe try swapping the switch in the
console.
 My driver window fails to work in the very cold winter but
works on warmer winter days. My theory is that there is a
pool of ice somewhere in the door that prohibits the window
to lower. Only an issue when you drive up to Border Customs
and you have to open the door to give your passport. They
always ask you to park it & join them inside.
