Agreed.  I worked breifly in 1988 for a unit of
General Electric in Syracuse's "Electronics Park".

within the same cavernous building, a CRT factory was
being dismantled and shipped to China.

who knows how many cheap TV sets were shipped back to
the US with CRTs made with that specialized equipment.

Audi Content-many cheap parts are made in China.
