7a and CIS?

Just contempleting a swap. And easy drop in no wiring swap, so it would need
to be capable of running on CIS-e III. I know the 7a uses that blasted
Hitachi EFI stock. But I wonder if you COULD run a 7a with CIS? I know you
can get adaptors to use standard CIS injectors. But what about timing? ANd
can CIS provide the proper fueling for a 7a? I just dont know. Anyone got
thoughts on the idea of swapping in a 7a and running it off CIS-e III?
