While what you're saying is very good knowledge to have, in my locale, it is
virtually impossible
to "beat" a ticket and avoiding any financial outlay.

Philadelphia Traffic Court is so corrupt that, if you know the right lawyer
to have in the courtroom,
you can actually just make the ticket "go away," although then you have to
pay the lawyer a lot of
money.

Other townships near here are the same way- I've had tickets go away but
I've had to pay a lawyer to
make them go away and I've still had to pay fines to the township in one way
or another- it's just
legalized extortion.

Fortunately, PASP aren't using LIDAR or at least not in any significant
numbers.
