I agree there, in fact, the usual failure mode seems to be the throwout 
(release) bearing.  While in there, I would at least inspect the clutch 
and p/p, plan on putting a new t/o bearing in along with seals & fluids 
(so easy while you're there), and a new slave cylinder.
