The rest has been covered well. I'm just going to comment on the cold start.


This sounds exactly like a lean cold start. That is what would give these
symptoms. I'd start with checking the specs on the coolant temp sensor for
the fuel injection. I fit tells the ECU that the car is warm, it leans the
mixture to normal load.

Other than that, does the car idle alright? BTW, do you have the Bentley for
these cars?
