I just had to chime in on this one.
I have a friend that was in the Marine Reserves as a Radar Operator in an air wing. He swore that all the people that had been in for a long time and on active duty, had kids that were only girls. Also my first wife's dad was in the Air Force and worked on AWACS for years, he had two girls!
MAC my ex-father in law had a 5000 at some point when he was in Germany. 
Also my A8 with the summer package has the front windshield that blocks radar, rendering my V1 useless!
