**** All audis are too low to use car ramps. The front skirt catches on the
ramp before the wheel hits the ramp.
My solution was to use 2 x 8's under the ramps.
A 5' x 2 x 8 with 2 x 4 crosspieces at the end for the metal ramp to sit
on. Small 2 x 4 pieces under the 'outriggers' keep the ramp stable.
I even made an 18" x 2 x 8 "ramp for the ramp" to lessen the steepness of
the metal ramp.
To locate the metal ramp and keep it from slipping, I drove in a bunch of
nails around the ramp and cut the nail heads off so only about an inch of
nail remains. The nails locate the ramp and lock it into place.

An additional benefit is that the car sits 3 1/2 inches higher when it is on
the ramps.
