**** yeah, maybe you're right. It depends on the Brand of ramp you have.
Neither of my audis(standard suspension) will fit. One side might barely
scrape over the ramp lip, but the other side of car skirt hits the ramp.

**** If you did that, then you need to align the car so it goes up the
center of the ramp. What a pain!
I eyeball-align the edge of the ramp with each tire.
Shove the front of my 5 foot ramp extension gizmo in front of tire, centered
on tire.
Move the back of my gizmo left or right until the back and front edge of
front tire side lines up with the ramp's edge. Do same for other ramp.
And UP she goes!
