Anyone heard of "A Plus" or "A+" brand rotors?

Bart,
Personally...
Have had/have several older type 44's. Been turning a wrench (previous
career, now hobby/necessity) for at least 25 years. It's my opinion that
cheap parts usually aren't cheap in the long run. Yes, there's some things I
might replace with lesser quality (not OE or OE equivalent) but brakes
(especially rotors) aren't one of them!
Just replaced my UFO's on the 20V with German OE equivalents. I normally use
VW parts (800-VW-Parts, normally carries a lot of Audi stuff, ships daily,
but doesn't take cc's, ships COD) for the "good parts" and his prices are
comparable to internet prices or better. Actually scored on the UFO's..way
lower than internet! They know the cars and are honest...imagine that!
I'd check reputable outfits and even check to see what dealer charges for
the rotors!
Back to your question...Don't know, never heard of A+ rotors. Sellers
grammar reminds me of some of the super deals I've been offered by the scam
artists wishing to pay more than I ask...
See that you're quoting Canadian funds, so that may definitely affect
shipping if you choose a outfit in the U.S.
Have several web sites I use to compare pricing... ATE's are $68 (U.S.),
Zimmermans are 47... Believe they're both reputable
Brembos are $220. Blauparts.com has a kit for 169 (US) which includes rotors
and pads
My 2 cents
Eric
