I am using a an old skool 5kt side tb (non-intercooled turbo) manifold that has been modified to use a mitsubishi 4g63 TB facing to the firewall so any factory settings are long gone... I have changed a fair bit of stuff I guess and now the CIS hates me!!

What idle screw? If you're talking about the screw on top of the
throttle, that is not to be adjusted- it's set at the factory.
