Strange Shuddering

thanks to all for your ideas and links!  i'm
going to be checking the boost pipes again (the
lower one is apparently showing some signs of
failure where the alternator wires contact with
it).  the upper one (i assume the one that was
referred to as the michelin man) seems alright,
but i have a new aftermarket one sitting in the
back just in case.

one of the CV boots is torn, and i do have a kit
for it already, but this shuddering is most
definitely either electrical or fuel-related, or
both.  i will post my findings and solutions if
and when i find them.
