Odds run towards the wiring where it has to flex on the way into the 
driver's door.  Pull the accordian boot out of place and see if there 
are severed or bared wires.  If so, the fix is to splice in replacement 
sections of wire, keeping your splices in the car body and in the door, 
not in the flexible part.
