86 5000 heater core removal

Paul,
I did a write up on removing the heater core from the engine compartment
side with a Japanese key hole saw, that cuts on the pull stroke.
Caught a bit of flack for 'hacking', but I was able to R&R the core in
under 2 hours, and didn't have to fiddle around with aligning the flaps,
etc.
I didn't have a garage, or the luxury of time, as I was commuting 1000
miles a week in an '87 5KTQ, and needed heat, "right now".
It should be in the archives, but I can't find it.. or any other posts from
me since 1999. (?)
I'll see if I have a copy at home.
