Gamma radio code?

I just bought a 95 A6 with the Gamma CC radio.  The code the guy had with it
didn't work, so I tried going to a local dealer, they wanted 100$ to bring
the car into the shop, pull the radio and get the code for me.  I told them
I already had the SN and just needed the code, no need for all that.  No
help from them.

 

Ended up calling AoA and getting the original selling dealer's number.
Called them, they ran my vin and radio sn, and got another code, but this
one didn't work either.

 

So, does anyone have any way to get the code for this radio?  I have to
double check that I wrote down the serial # correctly as well.
