Bomb Replacement Question

I just did mine on my 200. I had to replace that hard line to the master
cylinder because it was corroded at a body clip and when I bent it, it
broke. I acquired a new section of hard line, bent it appropriately, and
just installed everything. I discovered happily that nothing else seemed to
be needed. Apparently that line is not a direct part of the brake fluid
system, even though it leaked brake fluid when disconnected.
