Bomb Replacement Question

I may be sending one your way David as I just replaced with new in my 200.
I chose to go with a new one since I'm selling the car and felt that would
be a better choice. However, I have other similarly-equipped cars so having
a spare wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing. Any idea of the shelf life
of a recharged one? Doesn't seem that it would matter really, but who
knows.
