200TQA boost sensing question

Good advice, Eric. That said, however, I had the zener/resistor mod
done on an '89 200tq when the car was about 3 years old. This mod
just involves fooling the ECU and not actually doing anything with
the chip. That wasn't what I thought I was buying but that's another
story. I ran that car for 60+K miles. Then, 9 years ago, I sold the
car (with about 120K on the clock) to another list member. I just
happened to hear from him just yesterday. He told me that the car is
still in use (including track time) in Colorado.
Given this experience I'm not too sure that the hazards are all that
great. However, YMMV.
