100% agreed!  Always best to torque with a torque wrench.  BTW, nice 
ones can be found on Ebay everyday.

And in effort to not hi-jack the thread, some impact guns have various 
settings in the tightening direction but they are not given specific 
torque values.  More like: Tight, Tighter and TFT.
