Vital info for old Audi models (MUST READ)

Ado,
There was much fanfare in the vintage Audi groups (like the DKW Club of
America) a couple of years ago about the ACI, however, that has appeared to
have cooled considerably. Imagine, Audi supporting vintage car owners like
M-B or Ferrari!!! (Sounds too good to be true, eh urQ owners?) ACNA people
attended an ACI meeting in Germany and contacted us about setting up North
American representation. We responded with questions and nothing more was
heard. I heard from someone in Europe that the ACI assembly is viewed with
some suspicion as an attempt to bring the use of marque logos, etc. (like
DKW, NSU, Wanderer, Horch....) under some Audi control. Whether or not
that's the case will remain to be seen, but I've heard little about the
activities of ACI since. I did have a short discussion with different ACNA
people at Carlisle this year, maybe next year we'll get something
together....
Cheers!
