retry - very high clutch takeup on 98 A4 - dying clutch or any other variables?

Grant-
I missed this post, but yes, the A4 does have a very high clutch engagement
point.
Much higher than my old 5ktq, 200q or any UrS I've driven. Higher than the
S4tts that
I've driven as well. The TT also has a high engagement point. Must be the
way they are-
there was nothing wrong with our A4 and it exhibited the same behavior.
