Hi boys,
once again, cheers for the help and support during
these testing
times.........
Ok so the car starts well now, but still has the golf
CPR on it
i assume that the MC2 CPR was duff since the problem
has gone away.
However, I tried to fit a golf CPR element to the MC2
CPR last night and
ended up writing this:
http://www.audifans.com/twiki/bin/view/Audi/WURorCPRResistance
I cleaned the MC2 CPR and may re-fit it at some point,
or it might just
stay VW for a while.
i'll check the CO and then try to forget about the
whole ordeal
the AC should be sorted tomorrow.
a friend sent me to an mate of his who is an AC and
rad specialist.
it's going to hurt a bit ($$), but his parts were v
reasonable, and the
labour.... well i have to organise a shale gas
drilling program for next
month, so it suits me to let someone else deal with
rebuilding the AC at
the moment. it looks like it will be R134a, but
that'll be good enough
for quebec i think.
if it's not, well i'll deal with that later. the
important thing is that
it works reasonably well for the rest of the summer
it's the wife's car after all
Thanks again for the help.
