1987 5ktq "Tantrum" behaving badly as e-test is due

George,
Thanks. The crankcase breather hose is about a year old now - shouldn't be
a problem. The turbo to intercooler hose is about 4 years old. The IC is,
of course, a suspect, as I have a QLCC chip in there without a bypass valve.
I ended up giving up (flame suit on), and the car is now at the mechanic's
place to be checked out. I did try the propane test on most of the engine
bay, but the idle bouncing rate was somewhat uneven to start with, and there
was no concise display when burning the propane, even when run into the
intake.
Cheers!
