Are B3 power steering pumps interchangeable?

No 90 or cq experience, but I can tell you there is a reason for the
difference in part numbers between the 5k/100/200 pump and the one used in
the V8.  There is just enough change in pump body configuration, not
discernible from a cursory examination of them, that the Type 44 pumps
won't fit in the bracket used for the V8.
