Are B3 power steering pumps interchangeable?

steering pump work in an early build CQ?  "Family Album" says they're
different P/Ns for early/late CQs but the pump looks exactly like mine in
the pic.


Nah, they look real close, but the fitting(and hence line) on one of them is
larger than the other. As I recall it's the pump to bomb line, and that hose
and bomb also follow that VIN split. It's not a 90q vs CQ split, it's just
early vs late 7A engine.
