Grant,

Can't say I disagree with you, my urS4 has been pretty solid so far
since I purchased it in Feb, but my dad has loved the type 44 avant
for 20 years and doesn't really want to move away from it... it was
hard enough to convince him that the his '87 be retired and the 20v
avant is a better investment of both time and funds.

So a 1991 200q20v avant is the last of that line and while it still
has the type 44 issues, many of them are a bit better than his '87. At
least I hope so, he can't stand the C4 avant or else I'd try and sell
him on a 95.5 S6
