As Robert Rossato wrote, cranking in negative camber will
cause toe out. Toe is _very_ sensitive to camber changes - for
quick and dirty, you can often adjust toe with tiny tweaks
to camber. Anyway, since excessive toe, in either direction is what
causes tire wear, getting the toe set is not something you
want to put on the when-I-get-around-to-it list.
To my chargin, the same is true of the rear suspension in the
Type 44. I adjusted the top link a tad in order to tuck the rubber
under the rear fenders and created an expensive, toe related tire
wear situation without realizing it.
