You'd better replace it now -- your car knows you're asking,
and the part will fail just for spite.

Seriously, if you have the part, replace it. If not, it may be
one of those things you get and keep in the trunk for when
it does go. But then, since you will have the spare part in 
the trunk, you might as well replace it. :)
