Huhhh
An interesting thought Bob. Are you going to R&R with
new ones or known good fuel injectors?
I just replaced the fuel pump with a brand new one,
Pierburg, and I know it must be pumping mad fuel.
But the car started after I forced the metering plate
a month ago, and now it doesnt even when trying the
same procedure.
When I bough the car a couple of years ago, it
appeared to have had a recent head rebuilt, judging
from the new head gasket it boast, as seen on the edge
between the cylinder head and block. It also had a
brand new radiator, again, judging from the
manufactured date on it, 2002.
So I'm assuming it got new injector O-rings as well.
It's a shame I have not been able to drive the car for
one thing or another, either little or big.
So far in now has:
-Top end engine rebuilt/ timing belt, seals etc
-New Radiator
-New clutch kit
-New Tranny mounts
-New timing reference sensor
-New fuel pump
Literally with 0 miles driven on all.
I need to get it running and wear some of this parts
out!! :)
I remembered when Cody first came over my place to get
it running, the car looked almost mint. Not so mint
now after hurricane Wilma last year :(
-Best Regards,
-Louis
