Airbag removal

  I can't comment on the physical how- fasteners and such, but know from my 
Professional Life (tm) that static electricity can be a concern.  A 
detatched airbag will typically have a shorting plug across the firing 
terminals to prevent esd from setting it of.

The units are pretty robust, and I've only heard rare stories of inadvertant 
deployment, but there's plenty energy there so do be careful :)
