How do I remove rear headrests on a '96 A6?

Hi All,

I have a '96 A6Q and the rear headrests really block my rear view. I cannot
remember the last time I had anyone sit in the back, so it makes sense to
just take them out. However, looking at them, I did not see any way to do
that. What's the trick to them?
