Greg, et al

thanks for the many replies, been a great help.

over the wkend i went to the local u-pull-it and found 3 5000/100s but all looked worse then mine
the northern salty roads rust the metal bits of the HP hose.. though looking at other units on cars, I may just have a bad LP return hose. from my quick glance underneath in Jan (cold) I felt the bad hose was in the end. and presumed it was the HP one as I hadn't seen or been aware of there being 2 (HP and LP)
I initially thought the HP was just pressured on the back of the system ala brake vac boosters..

anyways. I won't be able to get under the car till next weekend, and I'll check out my local NAPA for the $25 hose, great deal I must agree.

For the HP hose, check out NAPA, or their online site www.napaonline.com
They stock the HP hose for the outrageously inexpensive price of $25

I put one on my car last year. Fits perfectly, and works well.
