autocheck coolant warning

Well, I did something wrong earlier, and seem to have fixed the problem. When I installed the 4 prong multi timep switch, I also had to splice in the connector, as one of the wires had come loose from my original connector (luckily, I suppose, the one that isn't needed with a 3 prong multi temp switch.) I used Posi-Lock connectors, which are easily disconnected and reconnected. Apparently when I disconnected the blue/yellow wire I undid the darker blue/yellow wire and not the bright blue/yellow wire. I noticed this because my temp gauge wasn't working. So I swapped which one was unconnected and my gauge is now working, and the darned autocheck hasn't flashed all day today (and I drove some 150 miles with many stops.) So it must be a bad multi temp switch, as I left the low coolant temp sensor plugged in. Sadly, I blew a tire today while driving around, and didn't have the lug wrench. Had to use a 3/8" socket with a 17mm deep well - had to use the deep well to get the racket far enough away from the car to stand on it to unloosen the lug bolts. All of this in the pouring rain, I might add.
