antenna connector type?

Wondering if anyone knows the designation for the threaded connection to the
antenna amplifiers that Audi uses. At least for the A6 anyways, but I am
pretty sure the 5k used the same so its quite possible its the same now as
well.
I am looking for a designation so I can order them to replace the
connections on my A6 as they are bad and I would rather cut off the end of
the cable and put a new connector on instead of running a new cable. The
connector is threaded like "F" style connectors that are standard in cable
TV, but "F" uses the coax center wire as its pin, while this connector has a
female center. I am quite familiar with alot of standard RF connections
including BNC, F, and semi-rigid coax applications, but I have only ever
seen this connector in Audi/VW. I am assuming its a European design as
well.
So... anyone got any ideas?
Thanks,
Rob
