You're talking about the switch which trips at WOT, right?  While I  
don't know if a QSW has an O2 sensor, older cars with O2 sensors and  
WOT switches use them to disable close loop operation so that the  
mixture can be enriched for additional power.  If you do have an O2  
sensor, I'd seriously suspect your O2 sensor is giving crummy info to  
the computer and that tying the WOT switch on is just disabling the  
flaky O2 sensor.
