FWIW, I think the Saabaru is much more designed for easy maintenance than
the Audi. Somehow, I don't think I could drop the subframe of the Audi in
the driveway using only handtools and ramps, install an upgraded swaybar and
put it all back together inside of 1.5 hrs. And, if I want to check gearbox
oil in the Audi, it takes a lift, ramps and jackstands, and a mundo Allen
wrench or socket and a decent droplight. On the Saabaru, I have to withdrawl
the dipstick, wipe it off and re-dip. Even the beater's Autobox (4EAT)
which had (like Audi) two different chambers had two separate dipsticks.
