1988 90Q dipstick, hunt & peck idle.

So, anyway, whether or not a tiny leak like that would throw things off 
is not really relevant here.

Something is stopping your engine/ECU from nailing a happy idle. 
Elsewhere a short list of things to check was posted - OXS, idle switch, 
etc.  I'd check out that basic short list of "CIS stuff" first.
